Maximum of 5 Players Per Roster
 
Teams Choose 3 of the 5 Players to Participate in Each Match
 
Total Combined Skill Levels for the 3 Participants in each Match may not exceed 15
 
One time-out per player per game will be allowed
 
Alternate between 8-Ball & 9-Ball Racks; Starting w/8-Ball
 
             Teams flip a coin to decide who must declare their 3 players first.
Winner of the flip has the choice to declare first OR have the opposing team declare first 
 
           The first team to declare must list their 3 players in ascending order (lowest to highest);
then the opposing team lists their 3 players lowest to highest
 
         Once both teams have declared their players, the players are locked and
may not be changed unless the 15 rule is in jeopardy
 
Order of play will be lowest skill level to highest for the 3 players on each team
 
Players lag to determine the first break
 
            Once the first two players have completed their rack of 8-Ball,
the second two players will play a rack of 9-Ball.
After that rack is completed, the third set of players will play a rack of 8-Ball.
If necessary, the 4th game would the first set of players playing a rack of 9-Ball.
Play will continue in this pattern until one team reaches the total number
of points/games necessary to win
9-Ball is not ball count; a legally pocketed 9 ball wins the rack
 
Winning team breaks with the next player in the rotation
 
Each rack is worth 1 team point
 
Games Must Win Chart will be used (Shown on the Left)
 
         A player’s highest skill level between 8 or 9 ball will be used towards the 15 rule.
(Exception – Skill Level 8&9 will count as 7s in this event)
 
Only one senior skill level (6 and higher) may play in each match
 
Players may only be on one team
 
Players must be active Louisville APA members
 
         Players must have at least 20 8-Ball or 20 9-Ball scores within the last 2 years.
A combination of scores between the two formats is not allowed
 
         Players must have completed at least 2 sessions as a Team Captain of a
Louisville APA 8-Ball or 9-Ball team in the 2024/2025 League Year
  
 
Players must have played at least 4 times in the Spring 2025 session
 
To be eligible for the Vegas Team Captains Tournament,
players MUST play in the Summer 2025 session
 
Double Elimination Bracket
 
Team Fee = $500 (Includes Table Fees)
 
Actual prize value and travel assistance will be dependent upon total number of
entries received; 100% payback to the winner minus table fees and Vegas slot fees.
